I've noticed something interesting.

Right now, most of the excitement I'm seeing about the mii is from folks who are involved in still photography, mainly.

I know a number of folks who work in the film industry (used to own a commercial film production company in Texas), and they're not up to speed--yet--on what this camera is going to be able to bring them.

I sent a couple of friends (who both currently work at Pixar) to the site for "Reverie," and their response was a hearty, "Where in hell has this been?" set of emails. I think there's going to be an initial grab of this camera from folks who do still photography (like Vincent LaForet, for example), but that's going to be followed by a bunch of folks from the film and video industry going for it as they realize what they can do with it. Please be sure to include a link to http://planet5d.com to them when you chat with them - that way they can keep tabs and possibly contribute once they learn more about the 5d mii! (And, of course make sure they see the buy a mii page heehee).
